Keti's newest workshop for 2019 - features a multi-layered Raqs Sharqi instrumental created for Keti by renowned Egyptian ney player and composer Khaled Hassan. Bellydancers can experience clear musicality and rhythmic structures including the Malfuf, Maqsoum & 10/8 Samaii rhythms. Enjoy a classical entrance choreography with fresh movement combinations and contrasting elements. Keti teaches with a somatic focus on weight sensing, use of space and the emotional context of the music and maqamaat.

Keti offers a Somatic and musical approach to dance and movement, which supports wellbeing, develops artistry and improves movement confidence. Originally from Australia, Keti developed A-Z Bellydance in Egypt, where she lived for many years, organising live music and cultural events. The A-Z methodology is currently taught in 40 countries. Interested in Somatics and studying the art for 20+ years, she teaches both Egyptian dance and Somatics movement classes, and has studied Somatic Education in the USA.
