About A-Z Bellydance Study Courses for Certification
The A-Z Bellydance Study Courses are designed for Certification. A-Z provides adaptable movement matrices for Raqs Sharqi, Baladi & Folkloric styles, and newer creative fusion styles. Participants receive a progressive lesson structure to support their learning from start to finish, with course materials including dvd instruction, a study manual, course music, online examination and personal assessment process. Assessment guidelines describe the key criteria that must be demonstrated for successful completion, and participants receive a fully detailed report. A certificate is issued upon successful completion.
Courses are available online, and if you prefer to receive hard copy items, these can be posted to you in addition to the electonic items. The courses are delivered in 6 x progressive lessons, each requiring aproximately 4 hours each to complete. So depending on the time you have available, you have the flexibility to choose to do the course in 6 days, 6 weeks, or up to 3 months. Participants have 3 months to complete their course to receive their FREE Assessment, or an Assessment fee of $90 applies thereafter.
Courses have been created in a progressive and logical orde. A-Z Original provides the essential foundational process for the methodology. A-Z Advanced sequences, designed for stage, are more complexs yet mirror the core structure and qualities of each Original sequence, so the two streams combine seamlessly. Personal Techniques certification is a pre-requisite for Teacher Training. The final course is the Assessor's training. Graduates of the new format A-Z Teacher Training and Assessor Training can offer official OPT and APT training courses.
A-Z course participants are supported by a welcoming community, and Teachers often travel or are invited to teach within the community, as A-Z encourages dancers to express their unique areas of strength and inspiration.
