A-Z CERTIFICATION COURSES
Now you can study bellydance at home at your own pace. A-Z Original and Advanced are now available as correspondence courses. Study with the manual and dvds at home, then submit a dvd (or upload onto our new private YouTube setting online) and submit questionnaires (by mail or electronically) to be assessed by our A-Z assessors.

A-Z PERSONAL TECHNIQUES
A-Z PT courses improve your overall techniques, understanding and application of A-Z routines. The assessment procedure offers detailed feedback, guiding participants to demonstrate the routines to standard. Personal Techniques certification is required before proceeding to Teacher Training in the same stream. Certificate issued on completion.

A-Z TEACHER TRAINING
A-Z TT courses qualify dance instructors to officially teach A-Z Original or Advanced professionally. Teacher training courses contain NEW DVDs with demonstrations, choreographies and lesson plans. On completion teachers receive a certificate and a personal bio/class webpage.

The Concept of Assessment:

Why be assessed? We believe that a consistent standard demonstrating correct posture, technique, musicality and phrasing underlies the proper execution of these routines. This becomes a secure base from which creativity can grow with confidence. Assessment provides you with detailed feedback, highlighting your areas of strength and weakness, to provide insightful knowledge for improved dance technique and skills development.

Acknowledegment goes to Renate Van Dordrecht, Suzanne Oehlers and Jilyan Andersen who initially worked towards the collation of material and lay out of the A-Z course manuals. Renate and Jilyan's teaching of the A-Z routines in their schools, and Suzanne's continuing international travels for the highest level A-Z PT and TT participant training, reinforce the value of assessment and attention to detail.

Since November 2009, we have a great team of International Assessors join us, to assess course participants with the highest degree of respect, detail and personal focus. We are committed to helping you achieve your personal best.

Assessments held monthly
Note: Assessors prefer dvds submitted in two lots; first A-E & F-J (to clarify main technique areas to focus on) then follow up with K-O, P-T, U-Z.
